Drawing In Adobe Illustrator

First i went onto the web and found a blackand white picture for my drawings, then i printed it off.

This is the bigger picture, i got some tracing paper and traced parts of the picture i wanted to change on Adobe Illustrator.

Then I made different shapes and coloured them in, but i didn't like the tree as it didn't go the way i wanted it to so i just changed the train.

Next I put the train onto the Photoshop on top of the original picture.

I then inserted a layer mask to make the train more natural look on the page, so this is my final piece and I'm happy
with the outcome of the picture overall :).

Creating Illustrator Brushes

First in my sketchbook I drew different patterns for Illustrator by using a ruler for the straight lines to keep my artwork neat and then using equipment like coal. chalk,ink and graphite.They all make different textures and patterns to make the lies different and more effective.

Then I put them onto an Illustrator sheet and made them more bold and put each pattern onto my own patterns so now i can use these in any work on Illustrator.

Using Illustrator and Pathfinder

First I show how to make different shapes with the pen tool.

Next I used the pen tool again but do they more complicated version to show different skills within the Illustrator.
